Multiple Free Domains For WHMCS
This drop-in module enables the activation of multiple free domains per product and provides improved management of free domains than the default feature of WHMCS. In short, this module fixes all issues you may have with the default WHMCS free domain functionality.
Independent Next Due Date
With the default function of WHMCS, the next due date of the domain and the main product must match. A discrepancy will cause problems. In practice, it is unavoidable that some domains (for example, during a transfer) have a different next due date. Our module does not care about the next due date, it handles the free domains correctly, no matter which expiration date / next due date is stored for the domain.
Fine-grained ACL management
Free domains usually have only one purpose - the domain should be managed in connection with the main product. You may not want email forwarding to be created, nameservers to be customized or the like. With our ACL management system you can assign individual permissions for each domain to ensure that the customer can only do what is in your mind.
Configurable in every way
The module offers extensive configuration options, dozens of module properties can be customized according to your wishes to reflect the workflow you want. From notifications to how to handle a cancellation - everything can be easily configurated in the administration page of the module. The module page also offers you a clear list of all free domains and their status. This way you can quickly see if a domain is unintentionally active for which the main product has already been cancelled.
Feature Overview
Multiple Free Domains Per Product
The module allows to allocate several free domains per product. Customers can activate the first domain as usual during ordering and the remaining free domains directly in the product management. You can set the number of free domains on several levels - depending on the product and billing cycle (more free domains for longer billing cycles can be a good incentive for prepayment), or individually for each customer product.
Automatically added to the hosting account
When a customer activates a new free domain, not only will the domain be activated, but also the correct name servers will be set automatically and - if your hosting panel is supported - the domain will also be added to his hosting account automatically. We do support cPanel out of the box and we have a documentation ready which explains how you can integrate other hosting panels like DirectAdmin.
Drop-In Replacement For the default WHMCS system
This is a very mature module which is in use by several major providers. No template adjustments are necessary - in fact, not a change in the main WHMCS system is required because it is a drop-in module. This means that for you, everything works as you are already used to, only that now everything is handled much better (+ you have access to the new features that the module offers you).
